Before we post we would like to thank the may readers who took the time to drop snowdrop a note after her pathetic attempt to flame us. We really apreciate your support and were shocked as to how much we received. We thankyou all.

Secondly, we would like to apologise for any spelling or grammatical mistakes you may find. Unfortunatly Osanna's computer was attacked by the blaster worm and it ate Word so neither of us have a spellcheck program at the moment. We are doing our best by hand but mistakes will be made.

CHAPTER 6:Draco's Promise

Things went pretty much as usual that week. Lessons and what small bits of research they could fit in-between in the library. Ivy seemed to be the recipient of Draco's affection all week, he truly seemed to adore his teacher, and flaunted it every chance he got. Osanna couldnt seem to make up her mind between avoiding Snape and trying to run into him. They were waiting really for the weekend however, and a chance to catch Narcissa's meeting with her Sister.

The night before they were to set off back to Hogsmeade the two girls sat in their kitchen, talking the situation over.

"Even if we can catch them together, what good will the information do us?" Osanna asked as she fed George a licorice wand.

Ivy shrugged. "I dont think she trusts us, actually I KNOW she doesnt trust us...at all...we need to discredit her, and this is the perfect opportunity."

Osanna nodded then quirked her brows. "But will Lucius even believe us? What reason does he have, it is his wife after all, and we dont know how close they are!?

Ivy grinned as if terribly proud of herself. "Your right we DONT know how close they are, that's why however after we get the incriminating evidence tomorrow and come home, I am going to ask Draco by."

Osanna quirked her brows again. "How is Draco going to help us?"

"Well no doubt, he's a very intelligent child, so we will have to be careful, but I figure we can CAREFULLY glean some information from him.... information on his parents relationship, then we can decide how to go about using this against Narcissa."

Osanna grinned. "I can help with that. It's a wonderful idea, after all Draco seems to be rather fond of you."

Ivy blushed and tilted her head to one side. "Perhaps only because he has no relationship with his mother."

Osanna nodded. "Most likely, at least it would seem that way."

Ivy popped a Pepper Imp in her mouth and giggled as a green flame billowed out from her mouth. "Whoops! 'Scuse me!"

Osanna raised her brows and chuckled. "I dont think your going to need anymore candy tomorrow!"

Ivy shot her a look and got up to close the curtains when she heard a rustling noise just outside the window, obscured by her star blossom vines from her line of vision. She frowned; sure they were being spied upon again. She threw the window open all in one quick motion, determined to catch the culprit. It was indeed an owl, however instead of trying to get away as she had expected, it landed right on her wrist. She stared at it blankly for a moment, trying to determine where, or better yet from whom it had come, it looked like a random owl from the Owlery at the school however...she could not match it to any one person. There was a large silver envelope attached to its leg. She un-tied the black ribbon it was bound with and released the bird out the window.

The envelope had Osanna's name on it. She quirked a brow and threw it down on the table in front of her.

"There you are!"

Osanna picked it up and handed it to Ivy. "You has best handle this bit...your more adept at handling envelopes."

Ivy chuckled and un-tied it slowly, bracing herself. Nothing happened however. The envelope was not at all magically enhanced. She reached into the envelope and pulled something out, suddenly their kitchen, lit only by candles was filled with a beautiful, shimmering silver light.

Both girls drew in their breath, it was a luminous, shimmering Moon-Rose, they were incredibly rare, and only bloomed in bunches of three once every ten years...........shards of glitter fell from it's blossoms and Ivy handed it gently to Osanna.

Osanna said nothing, her mouth hung open. Ivy reached into the envelope and there was a piece of black parchment, written on it in silver ink was a simple message.

"For the Lovely Osanna October...the Winter in my heart has fallen."

Ivy handed it to her and quirked a brow.

"Welllllllll I'M JEALOUS!"

Osanna blushed violently, unsure of who sent it she placed it carefully in water and went to bed. Ivy looked after her and then followed her up to bed.

In Hogsmede the next day Ivy and Osanna waited in the alley next to the Three Broomsticks for Narcissa to arrive. Osanna kept eying the door to the broomstick shed. Ivy snorted in amusement. They carried with them a small box made of silver.

"Are you sure this thing will work?" Osanna worried.

"Of course it will, it has to, or we will have no proof for Lucius about Narcissa's past"

The box was an enchanted one, when the bottom was opened it revealed a mirror. Anything that was reflected in the mirror was recorded to be viewed later by opening the top of the box and looking into the other mirror. Ivy had done secret work to allow it to capture the sound as well, turning it into a valuable spying device. This object had been worked on and kept in secret as it was a forbidden peace of Dark Art apparatus, it would mean their jobs and a trip to Azkaban if they were caught with it.

Narcissa marched down the street and turned into their alley. They hid quickly in the broomstick shed. Lyrica came out of the backdoor of the Inn and joined her sister in the dark corner next to the water tower.

"Well I'm not sure why we have to meet here when there's a nice cozy fire inside?" Lyrica complained.

"I can't afford to be seen fraternizing with a Muggle, Lucius would find out."

"Well so he doesnt know that you're not a pure-blood. So what?"

"You don

"I heard that you borrowed some powers though to keep up the front" Lyrica accused.

"Yes, I had to have some powers or Lucius would never have noticed me. Besides the witch that I took them from was a nobody. Plus they'll never find her." Narcissa turned to leave, "You should go home it's not safe for you to stay long, this is a magical town and a muggle will arouse suspicion." She left in a rustle of silk.

Osanna and Ivy smiled at each other. "How nice of her to give us a few details" Ivy cackled, "This will come in very handy". She closed the box. They left and returned to Hogwarts.
