Chapter 22: Part Two
They found themselves faced with organized chaos; papers, documents and books lay in boxes, some clearly labeled, others not quite as obvious. The shelves were lined with books as well, some looked positively archaic, others brand new, the lighting was rather dim, the room smelled, positively reeked of dust and mildew, as well as parchment paper, ink and some smells better left unidentified. Ivy quirked her brows and was nearly thrown backwards as she let out a monstrous sneeze.
Osanna chuckled and patted her friend on the back. "All right, let's get to it, perhaps we can at least find something, and also we can work on that REPORT for Dumbledore."
Ivy snickered and nodded as she glanced around the room. "Yes, but WHERE in the hell do we start?"
Osanna shrugged as she roamed haphazardly around the room, trying not to trip over boxes. "I really don�t know, we just have to dig through these books and boxes I guess, I have no idea where to start."
Ivy sighed and kicked idly at a box that lay next to her foot. "Well, remember when we got the letter, the tryouts, or tests were mentioned. You know, the tests to be Headmaster?"
Osanna nodded slowly and smirked. "Your right, that may be something to go on indeed, let's have a look then, I bet those documents are here in this mess somewhere!"
Ivy grunted and plopped down in a pile of papers. "All right, let's have at it then!"
The hours passed in London, rapidly turning to late evening before the girls even realized, back at Hogwarts Harry, Ron and Hermione put their plans back into action.
