Chapter 27: Part Two

Once again, as stated, my partner and I no longer speak so I {Ivy} will continue posting and writing fic alone unless anyone wants to collobarate....thank you. This is a very good chapter, enjoy! Please sign the guestbook!

Ivy was already down the stairs and opening the door when Osanna caught up and put a robe over her shoulders, Ivy had in her desperation forgot to put anything on. Osanna followed her out the door and had to practically rip the limp Draco from Ivy's grasp.

Osanna lifted him up and quickly carried him into their cottage, a worried George, and positively terrified Ivy following behind.

"What is it, what's happened to him?" Ivy asked.

Osanna shushed her friend and laid the limp Draco down on the table. He was covered in blood, it stained his face like macabre tears, he was a sickly white color, his eyes were closed and his breathing was shallow, and the breaths were few and far between.

Ivy looked as if she were about to pass out herself. "Oh god...oh god...OSANNA HE'S DYING!"

Osanna's patience had worn thin, and for the first and perhaps last time she turned to Ivy and smacked her, square across the face.

'Ivy you have GOT to calm down, do you understand me? I HAVE TO FIGURE OUT WHATS WRONG WITH HIM...or he will die!"

Ivy was left, holding her reddened cheek in shock as Osanna tended to Draco. Her eyes were filled with something that may have been tears, but she would never show it, and no one would ever know.

Osanna checked Draco over, as quickly as she could, the blood was actually sweat, his body temperature was frigid however, his eyes had rolled back into his head, and his body was shaking, his breathing was nearly non existent and his limbs seemed immobile.

It took her only a moment to come to the conclusion he had been poisoned.

She had no idea however what had poisoned him, and Draco was in no condition to tell her, she was simply going to have to treat the conditions one at a time and hope it was enough.

She began gathering things from a frenzied pace from around the room. Angelica would help his breathing and clear up the bleeding in his lungs if there was any. Bay leaf would help with the paralysis, Black Hoarhound for the fainting and unconsciousness, Caraway to soothe the stomach, Fennel to restore his heart to a normal beating pattern, and secretion from the stomach of a goat...bezoar, it would cure nearly any poison. Ivy ground the herbs and Osanna added them to the bezoar and forced Draco to drink it...not that he could protest very much.

Ivy hovered over both Draco and Osanna. "What do we do now?" she asked.

"Wait...." Osanna whispered quietly, watching over Draco like an attentive mother. "It's all we can do."

An hour passed in silence, and then two hours.... it was now after four in the morning. Little had changed.

"Look Ivy, I'm.... sorry about slapping you, I just needed you to calm down and I...." Osanna trailed off, she obviously felt terrible.

Ivy looked at her and shook her head. "What's a little slap between best friends eh?"

Osanna, looking terribly relieved placed a hand on Ivy's who was now gazing worriedly at the table, and the limp Draco....

"He's going to make it Ivy, I promise he will..."

Come a quarter until six in the morning, Ivy had fallen asleep, restlessly and terrified in Osanna's lap, she awoke to a soft moaning noise.

She quirked her brows and yawned, then the severity of the situation once again hit her with blinding clarity. Draco!
